About The Zoya Wallet:
- The Zoya wallet is the perfect little project for using your scraps of cork, vinyl, leather or fabric. The wallet pattern calls for using strips of fabric, or one whole piece for the front and back.
- The Wallet opens fully with a zipper with two zipper pulls.
- The inside features a zippered coin pocket and a divider, a slip pocket and 10 cards slots for credit cards or business cards.
- It is not too hard to make, but may not be the first thing you should sew if you are a total beginner.
- The wallet is interfaced with rubber foam. I have also used a thin plastic as inserts to make the wallet stiff and sturdy.
- For the lining I have used waterproof canvas in combination with a thinner fabric for the card slots and the slip pocket.
- There are rivets on the little decor strips on the zipper pulls that makes it easier to open the zipper.
- You may use one piece for the front and one for the back if you like. You can still quilt the front and the back onto the rubber foam in a pattern you like, maybe even free quilting, make diagonal seams, or diamonds.
- The way I have made this wallet, you don’t have to top stitch through all the layers to add the inside of the wallet.
- Easily made on a domestic sewing machine.
The Zoya Wallet Pattern:
There are three files to download after you have bought this wallet pattern. The page with the links pops up in a new window right after you have paid. You have to go back to the previous page to click on the next link, and then the next. It should be really easy. You will also receive an email with the links to the pattern and instructions to your email inbox. If you don’t please check your spam folder. One file is the wallet pattern file, which you have to print out. The other two are instructions for how to sew it. One version has no photos for cheaper printing, and the other contains photos that you can look at on your I-pad or computer while you are sewing your bag and following along. The wallet pattern pieces are color-coded according to the fabrics you use, and there are labels you can cut out to pin to the pieces of fabric you have cut. There is also a material list, telling you what you need of fabrics and hardware to make this bag. There is a cutting list as well, to tell you how many of each pieces you need to cut, and in which fabric. There is also a link to where you can buy the plastic I use for inserts.
Specifications for the wallet:

If you want to make this wallet and sell it, you’re welcome to do so.
If you like, you can watch the video tutorials I made for it as well. Those are free for everyone to watch. You can go HERE to watch the videos:
The longest video gives cutting instructions and instructions on how to sew the bag from the start to the end. There is also a shorter sped up version that omits the pattern and the cutting and jumps straight into the sewing of the bag. No talking on this version, just music. This way you can focus on just watching how I sew it. And – if you need a more detailed video, you go to the regular tutorial.
Or you can go on YouTube to watch them.
