About Jeanne Crossbody Bag:
I have made this crossbody bag pattern based on two different fabrics. I have used cork and vinyl and even waterproof canvas for the exterior, but it can easily be made of a sturdy outdoor fabric. The lining is made with waterproof canvas (which offers great protection of your things if the bag gets wet for some reason). If you use vinyl, cork or waterproof canvas you don’t need extra interfacing to make this bag sturdy. However, if you make it with regular fabric, you need some sturdy interfacing like rubber foam or Decoville Heavy. This crossbody bag is not hard to make, but it shouldn’t be your first bag ever. Unless you are a totally fearless beginner bag makers. You can follow along with my YouTube video and see how I put this bag together. Of course you can also use it as a shoulder bag if you prefer that. The outside slip pocket is pretty practical for keeping things you need quick access to.
