Bag making is a pleasurable, gratifying and addictive hobby that you might make money on
Anne Bonney Bags offer downloadable PDF-patterns for handbags, crossbody bags, purses, totes, wallets, and toiletry bags. One of our patterns is a free gift to you. The others are sold at a very reasonable price. Some of our bag patterns are for newbie bag makers and some are for the more experienced and fearless bag makers. You can purchase the pattern (and you can watch the video first, if you like) and when you do, you will get help all along, with not only the tutorials, but also the descriptions that come with the patterns. With and without photos. The one without photos is meant for cheaper printing, and the one with photos can be looked at on your IPAD or phone as you sew. The patterns come with a cutting plan, a material list and labels to put on the different parts of the fabric after you have cut them out. You can make bags from our patterns to sell if you like.
Are you already a fearless bag maker, or do you want to become one?
Enjoy my patterns for bags, purses, totes and crossbody bags. Some are even free! My patterns for sewing bags come with free video tutorials and full instructions – you can choose to use the instructions that come with photos to follow along on your I-pad or smart phone, or the one without photos (to print). The patterns come with cutting instructions and a material list, so you see what you need for the bag you want to make. I have also added labels to pin to your bag parts after you have cut them to make it easier to stay organized.
I think you’ll find that Bag Making is a very addictive hobby, because it is challenging and fun, and very satisfying when you turn the bag after it is completed. You might even be able to make bags and sell. You can freely use my patterns for bags you want to sell. If you want to make your own tutorials for making my bags, feel free to do so, but please notify me so I can enjoy them too!
I have also added a place for you to find resources for bag making. See resources in the menu. That has links to other YouTube Bag Makers and their websites with patterns and hardware. The list for where you can buy things you need to make your bags, is a work in progress. Feel free to shoot me an email if you find a good place to purchase hardware or materials.
